Self Levelling Compounds
Supply and application of Self Levelling Compounds
The self-levelling compound is a smoothing compound that allows clearing all minimal tolerances in the floor built-up. It is used in the preparation of laying most floor coverings to create a smooth and level surface. Although it can be used on a variety of floorings, it is mainly used below Vinyl or Carpet flooring to minimise the tolerances before installing the final floor finish.
Self-levelling thickness can range anywhere from 3- 30 mm. One of the major characteristics of self-levelling is that it is a highly flowable material that compacts on its own and levels the surface without undertaking any type of manual application. In other words, that type of application does not require any kind of vibration or compaction during the execution.
